The recreation centre is comprised of approximately 67,000 square feet of main floor space and approximately 22,700 square feet of second floor space. The new facility includes a full-size indoor soccer pitch, perimeter second floor running track complete with seating to view the activities below, an art gallery, a two storey play and climb area, a mini-gym and indoor golf simulators. This facility is part of a joint use project along with Legacy Park Elementary School built on the former composite school site.
The facility was constructed of custom structural steel clear spanning trusses to span across the width of the soccer pitch.
