Legacy Park Elementary School is part of a joint use project along with the Credit Union Spark Centre. The school is comprised of approximately 50,000 square feet of main floor space and approximately 32,000 square feet of second floor space. Non-typical features included in the school are an attached daycare, a grand clerestory space for the Commons Area and a stage that can be opened to the Gymnasium and/or the Commons.
The two-storey structure was designed using combinations of structural steel and precast hollowcore floor panels to create open, flexible spaces conducive to modern learning.
